Coaches Corner

Welcome to the Plymouth - New Hope Little League Coaches Corner

The PNHLL Coaches Corner is designed to be a resource guide for all PNHLL Coaches, whether you are new to the league or an experienced Major's coach.  We encourage all of our coaches to share their best practices.

If you have tips, drills, etc please send the PNHLL VP.

Good Luck Coaches!

ABOUT BACKGROUND CHECKS

Coach and Volunteer Background Checks

All PNHLL coaches and volunteers who interact with our children must complete and pass a background check.

At your initial coaches kick-off meeting, a representative from the PNHLL board will be present to answer questions that you may have regarding this process.

-----------------------------------------

Completing a background check is mandatory. There are two ways in which you can complete the process:

(1) Complete the Volunteer Application. You will then need to turn this into the appropriate PNHLL board member. For the 2023 season these forms should be given to Jill Lubbesmeyer - if you have questions, contact Jill at j.lubbesmeyer@pnhll.org  The information that you provide will be entered into a service provided via Little League International. There is no cost to coaches for this option.

(2) If you are uncomfortable providing your sensitive date - such as SSN - you have the option of completing the background check via a fee-based online service. To utilize this service, click on the button to the right. There is a $15 charge for this service that you will need to pay for.

RESOURCES FOR COACHES

Little League Baseball works very hard to provide coaches with the tools they need to be effective leaders of children, to run efficient and productive practices, and to teach children the baseball skills they need to be able to excel.

Thus, they provide an online coaching tool at absolutely no charge whatsoever. Any and all Little League Baseball Managers and Coaches are eligible to access any of the information in this Resource Center at any time they wish. It is just one of the many reasons Little League remains the largest, best, and most respected youth sports program in the world.

It is strongly recommended that you join and utilize this free service.
