FACTS AND INFORMATION
Why Plymouth New Hope Junior/Senior Travel League?
In nine (9) years as a Little League program, PNH has established a winning tradition: ONE Midwest Championship - ONE Little League World Series berth - THREE State Championships, - SEVEN Little League District One Championships, TWO Minor Classic Championships.

It is a goal of PNHLL to continue providing its players with a quality baseball program after Majors by devoting its extensive resources and training to those 13-16 year olds who want to continue playing baseball in a league format and/or prepare for high school baseball.

Is this league a part of Little League International?
Yes. The Junior/Senior Leagues are sanctioned by Little League International and will be governed by PNHLL.
What makes PNHLL so successful?
PNHLL has been successful because, as an organization, it believes in the “Every Pitch, Every Play” philosophy. By developing quality coaches who are devoted to teaching and re-enforcing the fundamentals of baseball, PNHLL players have the opportunity to learn the skills of the game and the importance of being prepared for every pitch and every play. It is only through this kind of preparation that a league, a team, and a player can succeed and thereby achieve the level of success that legacy teams from across the country have enjoyed.
Who will umpire?
Little League District One Umpires
What size fields will Junior/Senior league teams play on?
Little League International operates its junior/senior league programs on the same fields that high school programs play on: 90 foot bases, grass infields, and pitching distances of 60 feet 6 inches.
How far will they travel during the regular season?
This season the Junior League will be comprised of teams from Blaine, Hamel, and PNH. Each participating organization will host games, so PNH teams will play at Zachary, as well as, fields in Hamel and Blaine. Little League District One will oversee game scheduling and each little league will schedule it own practices.

What will the regular season schedule be like and will they play on weekends?
Regular season games will be played Monday – Thursday. The season will run from the first week in May through mid-June. Regular season will be made up of a 16 game schedule with league playoffs and a championship game. Weekend games for the regular season will be rare and will depend on the number of rainouts and scheduling conflicts. League playoffs, as well as, district and state tournament play will include weekend games.

Tournament Play
In addition to the Junior League’s regular season schedule, tournament play opportunities will be available. For those players who want to play more than a regular season or who want to have an enhanced baseball experience, PNH will be fielding at least one tournament team (blended from the regular season teams) that will participate in various baseball tournaments around the Twin Cities. These tournaments attract teams from all youth baseball organizations and will provide PNH with an even higher level of competition. Specific tournaments and related costs are being reviewed by the PNH Board at this time. Tournaments generally are Friday through Sunday with at least 2 games guaranteed.

Will there be an All-Star team like in the Majors?
Yes. Each little league participating in the junior/senior leagues can select an all star team to compete in the District tournament. The winner of the District One tournament will then advance to the junior/senior league State Tournament which will be hosted this year in District One at Zachary Playfields on July 26-28, 2012. The winner of the State Tournament will progress to the Junior League Regional Tournament in Indiana and then to the Junior League World Series Tournament in Taylor, Michigan.

What is the registration fee?
The registration fee will be $175 per player.
